Best Rock Band

It was a blues band wish I could remember their name.... They messed up a tab and then people started calling it the devil and a bunch of other people liked it. Psst It wasnt Elvis because he wasnt around when it happened ^_^.

And who in turn started blues? if we never had the first genre, that wouldnt be here. it doesnt matter where/who started it

just be gratefull you have it. dont bloody argue over who made it. if it has emotion and talant. i support it. I would have to say, pink floyd along with spoon, only because i grew up with that band being constantly played.

Ok, Sex Pistols didn't even know how to write music properly and neither did the Ramones. You know how complicated punk is? Most of it is played on two chords! for those of you who don't play guitar that's very simple and takes nearly no talent to do. Sure they made what is considered revolutionary music and spawned a generation of wannabes and hardcore 12 year olds that roam the streets these days. I will give them credit for originality and pissing lots of people off but being the best rock band? (btw punk is a sub category of rock hence punk ROCK therefor making it a form of rock) I would say they get their due for their small section of rock but as for the best ever I think there are many in front of them that deserve the title much more.

dude music is 90%creativity and 10%talent so it dosnt matter if the song was played in 3 chords because those 3 chords together ROCK and make awesome music and the sex pistols did know how to write lyrics...they started punk rock with there rebelions such as "god save the queen" that song rocks man and created history when they went on that bot and blasted it..

Actually i dont think that Nirvana is very good at all, they only got sypanthy listeners for the death of kurt cobain and all of Nirvanas lyrics are so winey and boring

Nirvana was huge before Kurt died. They just became immortal cause with his suicide nobody would ever forget about them. But I don't think they are the best ever. And music is only 10% talent? No I'm sorry, it takes a lot of talent to write music and to write a decent song it takes days to get it the way you want it. And even after all of that it's up to the crowd to decide whether or not it's good, and if you get up there with a singer who has never sung before and people who have been playing for 2 weeks I can almost guarantee you'll be booed off stage. Yeah the Sex Pistols could write lyrics, but that gives them the title of the best band ever? How about Pink Floyd? A band that had incredible talent, originality, and strong messages in their songs. They've inspired more modern bands than any other band/artist. Go get Dark Side of the Moon then come back and tell me that the Sex Pistols are better.

Hey man, SCREW YOU Nirvana IS good and they didn't need sympathy from listeners , They made their own genre i think thats good enough, without them.,....i'd say we would still be in the metal ages
