Perhaps a small secret forum for older discussions

hello everyone, i was thinking that maybe there could be a forum created for mature discussions, make it secret or like for 5000 points so only a select few can get it.

feel free to post thoughts.

its just ppl who may want to ge in may spam useless crap to try to get the 5000 pointaroos, which seems quite excessive (unless u are an admin )

i dont see how. it would separate the 12 year old kids from the smart ones, and it could also have a secret password so very few know about it.
by the way.... what does buy forum access do? is that if you get banned from some place you can just by the access back?

i'm posting it publically because im gonna probly just let the forum die, and perhaps the moderators will make one, but only pm people if they have enough points, or have reached an excellent reputation at this site.

possibly a moderator or administrator could review a member and if his/her age is appropriate, they could give them a password to a secret forum or something like that

How much programming time and effort would be involved with separating sections of the forum by age group allowing anyone to enter any of them. Forget prequalifying entrants. How are you going to verify age and maturity etc. There should be intergenerational socializing where the parties' appreciate the dicussion anyway. I'm a father and appreciate my kids. I think that each person would naturally gravitate to the section they most feel comfortable and have fun in. Besides, age really has little to do with intelligence and in some cases less to do with maturity.

How about it's set up like the admin mod forum. Only this way only admins/supermods can invite people in. I tell you, it would kick *** being away from all the noobs.

anyway he just means that its in a person's nature to go into a place they never know about.
