what's the interest in the d2 forum bank ????

well its been like three days that i've had my money in there and it only went up from 6 points. That's all

i put all of my 640 or so points in there, and after one day i think i'm up to about 660. if that's the case, this'll be good for me, since i'll be away from a computer for over a month and a half pretty soon......oh, and anyone know if the interest is compound or simple?

Just go to the the Ushop or bank and it willl give u a whole list of things u can do. They cost alot of points tho for most things

The interest rate is about 3% per day.

3% are you sure i think that its 10% because i had 80 and i got an extra 80 back..besides that bank is kind of useless since it dosnt tell you, your current balence...

Yes, I'm sure the interest is 3%, I put 100 points in and the next day had 103. And the bank DOES show you your balance.

b4 i had like 100 points and the bank wouldnt let me put all my points in the bank. it would only let me put in 80 before i said you cannot deposit more points than you have.

yeah....basically, if you set aside $100 to increase 10% a day in the rules of compound interest, and set aside $100 to increase 10% a day in the rules of simple interest.....here's what would happen-

compound interest $100- after 1 day, you would have $110....on the second day you would recieve $11 more dollars because it took 10% of the 110, or the updated amount of money. on the third day it would take 10% of $121, and so on

simple interest $100- after 1 day, you would have $110....on the second day you would get the same amount ($10), because simple interest would only give you 10% of the original amount you put in. so on the second day you'd have $120, third day with $130 and so on.


on a side note....man, don't you wish there was a bank that compounded daily at 10%?

ok i get it, thats cool, compound interest involves using the money that you have gained throughout getting the interest, while simple interest simply uses the original sum on money that you placed in the bank. go compound!

i get 200 points a day and im at like um.... 3670 or so i think so ya. its possibly 5-10%
