Here's the way I look at it. I believe there is a god, I just don't know who or what he is. I believe that the Bible was written by man and is therefor flawed. I believe religion has been one of the main causes for wars and deaths throughout history. I believe organized religion was one of the worst things man kind ever invented. And again I believe there is a god I just don't know what he stands for and I'm not big on his fan club.

Ah yes, but they were fought in the name of God and because someone else didn't believe in their God/Gods. The point is if everyone just kept their own beliefs instead of building this big belief structure, organized religion, then thousands of lives would have been spared and the world would seriously be a much more peaceful place. But no, since all these books have been written to dictate how we should live our lives people have interpreted them into thinking if we don't follow everything this text says we will end up in Hell. God banished Satan to Hell because Satan claimed he was more beautiful than God himself, what happened to forgiveness? I think the Bible is too flawed to be taken as some law of life. I say if you live your life and do what you think is right then you should welcomed to Heaven no problem. But apparantly most religions think I have to accept a savior, or follow their teachings, or even convert others to my cause in order to get into paradise. Sorry but if that's God's will then it's not really a God I want to praise.

In my opinion there is less evidence of god and a heaven, hell etc..as opposed to evidence of natural evolution. I think religion if for ppl that are afraid of death personally..and religion iis an opiate of the masses. i did at one point go to church when i was younger because i was made to..now i dont..also..i dont understand while people believe in "god" with all teh destruction, poverty that goes on in the world today..if god is so great..why is the earth going to shit. and why is this great god letting it happen..if hes up there..hes damn lazy..adn dont even get me started on this "devil" and sinning etc..

thats is a good way to think of it and i think thats a preatty smart suggestion but im still religous and i go to church sumtimes but jahoba has a good point

the bible was written physicall by a man that was influenced through the holy spirit, and the bible is a compilation of letters written by the appossals.

It was written by the hand of a man and may have been influenced by a higher power, that or the man was just crazy. And the appossals just as well could have been lying or giving misinformed opinions and views.

Also D2 has tons of thigns from many different types of mythology. Blizzard is notorious for "borrowing" things like this.

the bible clearly states that you don't get into heaven for your good deeds.

so we beleive the bible because?? what prrof do we have that it wasnt written by somone hwo was insane..or written to basically keep ppl inline..its a book, written by a person ..or a bunch of people..

do we not have "books" in the present..do we beleieve everything thats written in these books, or tabloids..how do we know the bible isnt a tabloid oldschool style. becaue people say it isnt? pffft

Appossal is not the same thing as Apostle. Apostles are the ones that have written the New Testament, not the entire Bible. The Old was just books found and pieced together.
