Okay, I'm envious of all you guys that have dynamic IP's that allow you to release your IP and get back onto B.net in under 30 seconds. I'm on a static IP and when I get a R/D I'm stuck for an hour or more until the IP ban is lifted.
So, here's my question. Is there a way to run D II through a proxy or a program that makes your ISP connect through a proxy server before going to anyplace else on the net? I've looked throught most of the threads and I can't seem to find anything that answers my question. Also, I think I've found a program that forces programs running in windows to connect through a proxy but I can't try it out because you have to buy it first and they don't offer a free trial or a demo.
Also, any other suggestions on how to release my static IP so that I can really get a new one would be much appreciated. Stupid Time Warner Road Runner service and their static IP's. I love the bandwidth but...grrrrrrrrr.
