HELP MEEE (character expired when played with forever

ok I play DIABLO 2 LOD everyday and all my characters are not able to get expired. So the other day I played for 7 hours and when i loggen off battle net everything was fine. The next day i logged on and i noticed that underneath all the characters in my account it said ( character expired ). so why does it say this i can still play so that doesent matter im just concered that one time i log on it wont let me can you please explain why it is doing this and or how i can fix it. THanks
