This isnt really a joke, it's more of a poke I guess. I got stuck on a problem a friend's PC was having so I contacted Compaq Tech support. Seems this guy doenst know anything his troubleshooting software doesn't tell him, what the hell kind of tech is that? Here is the conversation.

Well, Im working on an old PC for a friend, I think either the Mainboard or CPU
is no good, i was wondering if you could verify.

Well, It was in pieces when it arrived, I assembled it, and when I turn the
power on, the CPU fan comes on, but there is no POST beep or video

breadboarding it, but still nothing

The issue is hardware related and need to be directly diagonized to isolate the

Please select 10 digit serial number when prompted in the link though your
system has 12 digit serial number.

Open the page and select 10 digit number option, that's it.
