Sorry, but I don't know how to solve this. I have also had some weird problems with vBulletin in general with Mozilla's Firefox, nothing the same as you though, usually just absurdly slow loading times. I recommend just using Internet Explorer on D2Sector. It's what I do. But always make sure you have spyware protection when using Internet Explorer. Sorry, and good luck.
