bmt makes a good point. people usually wont believe something unless they are directly told it by someone who was responsible for writing in the (rules) for diablo. if no one was told the rules then people may just make up rules in order to comprehend things. other really paranoid people wont even believe the rules no matter how many times the chat gem has been explained or tested, and the accounts of people activating the perfect gem and then going and mfing in games and getting way more gems just adds to the conspiracy. perhaps this person with mf was lucky and just got a few more gems when they were cowing.
anyway yes the chat gem says moo and it does all sorts of wonderous things like say "perfect gem activated" and "gem deactivated". so good for it.
