well when I was reinstalling D2 again.... this error came up at the end of the installation(I went to Show Details):Log created 03-20-2005 at 6:19pm.

Setup was unable to create the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Diablo II
Error 0x85200066:
(C:\D2\Tools\DiabInst\Source\regundo.cpp:112)

Setup was unable to create the following registry value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Diablo IIBig GrinisplayName

Setup was unable to create the following registry value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Diablo II:UninstallString

would this might be the reason that nothing is working for me?
