I don't think 400-500 is better, but try adding meph in and another boss so you don't get r/d (Assuming you don't set a min game length) or waste time by sitting in a game till the 3 minutes are up. Try lowering it a little bit though, maybe to about high 500s - 600s. I don't know how you could have that much mf with a hammerdin, but try replacing some of your gear to less mf stuff that can handle the bosses easier.
