The guide is getting better all the time.
Conviction lowers all resistances, even poison. Monsters that are immune to Poison have above 100% resistance to poison. This amount varies from monster to monster, so it's impossible to say what amount you need to lower it to remove the immunity.
But say a monster has 150% resistance, then you'd need something that provides at least -51% to poison resist to be able to damage it.
There's a maphack called C3PO that shows you the resistances of all monsters, then just check the Arreat Summit for which level of Conviction and Lower Resist is needed to remove their immunity.
You might also consider Immortal King's Pillar, specially if you're going to duel. They have both 40% faster run/walk, as well as a big bonus to attack rating.
Cyclone Armor is a synergy to Hurricane, so maxing that will make your Hurricane last for something like a minute.
The general Rabies build is much better if you ask me. Get a Doom War Spike for the Holy Freeze aura, this will slow down your opponent far more than the Hurricane ever will, and will have a longer range, as well as ignoring cold resistances and Cannot be Frozen modifications. Yes, Holy Freeze ignores both cold resistance as well as Cannot be Frozen (so you get chilled even if you have a Raven Frost).
Mercenaries are sometimes considered bad mannered in duels, or else your mercenary could provide the Holy Freeze aura. Potions aren't allowed either, so if someone is using them, just leave the game or fight someone else.
Just run close enough to chill your opponent with Holy Freeze (11.3 yards in the case of a level 12 Holy Freeze), then just hit him, and run away and let the poison take effect.
You also *NEED* attack rating if you're going to duel, or you won't stand a chance. So an Angelic Amulet and two Angelic Rings is a must.
