if you use tals belt, armor, and ammy instead, you get 88mf from armor, with a ptopaz that gives another 24mf, plus mf on the belt (mine has 14 but it varies) plus 65mf from wearing 3 parts of the set. so that will actually give more AND you get the skill bonus from the ammy.
