thanks guys for the advice...and i do remember hearing mages and theives are one of the best chars in maple story...but for better clarifications

bartender, i thought clerics are known for their healing powers not as the dmg do'er....because im a newb, i don't want to blurt out anythin stupid so iis it a good choise to have started on a magician with base states of 5/5/10/5? I am decidng on building a lite/ice build but I am really wondering if clerics are better than ice/lite in terms of afflicting crazy dmg..
