Furthermore, you OBVIOUSLY didn't read my post properly. I said they'd check logs. Since you didn't understand this the first time, let me explain it. Logs is a list of previous actions that will be placed every time a character does a main event or action. IE, trading, dropping, etc. If you were to dupe it, blizzard would catch THAT part in their logs. Not after it's traded... The first instance of the serial, not the second, not the third... THE FIRST!

Let me show you an example of what logs may look like, since you didn't understand...

There would obviously be other commands in there, unless they decided to sort it by account. Therefore it would search for the first instance of the serial 0x40005ABC.

Ok, point taken, but an extremely simple way for getting by that, is just by duping runes and then cubing them. They wouldn't be able to prove anything even if they had Your logs.

Blizzard hasn't cared for shit in banning in the past, why would they now? If they just ban your CD key and not your account, you'd go and buy another CD. Thus giving them more money which is what they want.

I'm starting to hear this shit way too many times. If I got banned for no reason, I'd just quit Diablo. Also, believe me, Blizzard really doesn't care about 1 person buying 1 more cd-key, not even 100 people buying 100 new cd-keys, not even 1000, because it's peanuts to their ordinary revenue. It's not like, "Wow! Another noob banned, now I'll just wait until he buys a new cd-key so that I can get myself some lunch!" Get real.

It would have to be picked up twice in order for the dupe to work. There would be some logging off and on in there too. If you want a real games logs, I can show you some logs for Ultima Online. If you want an hour, i'll give you an hour... It's quite simple.

Sorry, but I am really not intersted in Ultima online logs, neither do I see how they contribute to this discussion in any way.
