I have been told that a version swapper will be released in the next couple of weeks. Then all you need is D2 ver 1.11b on your comp and install vers swapper and it will let you play 1.09D, 1.10 and 1.11b, has a few other goodies added in. What you need to do now is install 2 copies of D2. Its easy, all you do is re-name you Diablo II folder in Program Files to Diablo II 1.11B, then it allows you to install another copy, patch it to the version you want and your right to go. Just make sure you create new short cuts for both versions.
