I find that very hard to believe. A suburb in a big city huh? And the reception is bad? It's not the signal, it's a shitty phone. Or you're trying to make the call in a cement bunker.
Cingular has the best signal? Hardly. Cingular and T-mobile use GSM, whereas Verizon/Sprint use CDMA. CDMA is far superior in terms of availablity. The Spectrum is wider. 2 CDMA towers can cover more ground (and handle more people) than 4 GSM towers.
Oh, Cingular is just now moving to 3G (T-mobile is still using 2G). Verizon and Sprint have had it since 1995 I believe, and they now have EVDO. Cingular/T-mobile can't keep up, from a techincal standpoint.
Now i'm not biased, but these are the facts and I clearly know more about this than you.
