She could not have fled immediately after the Crucifixion because she was the first to see Christ after the resurection. But yes I find it a believable story. I just don't know why the Protestant Churches are boycotting it, aren't they supposed to be "nicer" than the Catholic Church. It is not very hard to believe that the Catholics would hide something like this though, their leadership has always been of question. Also back in their day of power it would not have been hard for the Pope to order something like this.
