I just had my account and everything on them stolen. Granted, I didn't have amazing uber-drops or anything, I enjoyed my characters, and had a few cool names. For instance, I had a low level Druid named "YogiTheBear" that is now lost forever.
Now, don't even begin to have pity on me just yet: I lost my account in an idiotic way. A player claimed he was quitting diablo 2 for guild wars, and didn't want his account anymore. I asked for it, and he told me the account name, and asked what password I wanted.
Here's where I get stupid. I even REALIZE that using the same password as my current account is stupid, but for some silly reason, I type in my password for my own account. Maybe the sheer thrill of owning a whole new account skewed my judgement.
I log off. Try to log into the new account. Funny thing is, it doesn't exsist. I try to log back into my account, knowing the free account was too good to be true. I cannot log back in.
I tried re-doing it by calling in the e-mail, but the reply to blizzard didn't work. Stupid blizzard.
Anyway, I started a new account, and a new character. BSG on USEast. I'm going to try a paladin. Anyone have a suggestion for a build, and a fast way to level? I really hate starting over. Also, can anyone who's well known on this board friend me? I could use some new friends now that my old list is gone, and trusting people in diablo is stupid.
