I manage to get nice block on my barb with base dex using tal belt, 25dex dancers and 2 ravens this setup allows me to take off block eq and use grief+beast for the rest of the time when i don't need a storm. I know what you mean about wwing bosses but if you don't click on them and just ww on them without obtaining namelock they go down really fast therefore i would stick to ww still. Why do you have difficult wwing meph to death? ;O The only one that is problematic is baal because he has mana burn.
In pvp a barb with a shield has a massive advantage over the other if he uses 2 weapons, I wouldn't be suprised over the fact that you won.
Please use highlords no barb should ever take off that ammy except for angelic combo in rare cases.
