First take buisness computers, this will give you very indept knowledge of Word and Excell (and maybe powerpoint)
High-paying jobs usually are in the R&D department, like hardware/software development. But you have to be a computer wiz and right now such jobs are very competitive.
There aren't as many high-paying computer jobs as there were several years ago, as computer skills are becoming common among everyone nowadays.
Take classes for EasyCAD or 3dCad, which are heavily used in architechure (butched the spelling I know). 3d Cad is hard and it sucks but once you have it down and are good at it finding a job should not be so hard. Honestly if you are doing something you truly enjoy and are good at the money will come..
Really what do you wish to do in computers? You could be anything from a graphics designer to a server admin to a hardware developer to network instillations...
