*standing there, breathing heavily, Zero slowly turns*
"I meant no offense, I mean noone harm. My deepest apolagies Pam, I could never hurt you or any one you hold dear. It's just that, since I was but a child people have badgered me into fighting because of my size and strength. I try to control the countless years of pain and pure rage that burn through me like a brush fire."
*face filled with sadness, he looks to the floor*
"For years I have been taunted, tortured, mocked. This soul has seen more trauma than is healthy. There is something about me that you should know however; I am cursed to live forever."
*reaching into his tunic, Zero brings out an amulet shaped like a starburst with a symbolic eye in the middle of it*
*the amulet is gold, the eye a lusterus biege; it glows warmly in the hand of its wearer*
"This is the Eye of God, an ancient and powerful artifact that has long been lost to man until just now, it cannot be removed unless I wilingly do so and then would bring me death. It was given to me by the Archmagi Darius in my hometown of Eryian. He said I possed such potentiol in the arcane art and that one day, that potential would be unleashed and change the world as I know it forever."
*looking at the amulet fondly, Zero tucks it back into his tunic*
"You see, it contains a spirit in it, a very wise, powerfull, noble spirit. This amulet contains the spirit of the once great magus Amaraz. When I am weak, he strengthens me. When I know not the answers to life questions, he guides me to them. When I am wounded, I heal. As I said, I am cursed to live forever. Be not judgemental Sir Venom, this thick head holds more knowlege than you know and think. Yes, I know you. I was there, and I saw what you did. While most hear the stories passed on generation after generation, I witnessed your malacious deeds, not through my eyes mind you, but through the eye I wear now. I was elsewhere and it was not in my power to stop you, but I know your secrets."
*Walks over and stands next to Venom and whispers quietly, for only him to hear*:
"Do not gloat over what happened that treacherous day. It is not a dead to be spoken of. You could not fight the power of the ring at first, is that it? I know what it feels to be tempted by power and darkness. I once wore the Devil's Armor, but that, is a story for another time. What is done is done. I hold no grudges, I ask only understanding of you. How would you feel if someone tried to control you? Would you not fight that control, especialy if you were raised and have lived without restriction?"
*stands up and resumes normal volume*
"Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it. Yet by remembering, we plague ourselves daily. Can we not put aside our pridefull ways and be friends. As I said before, I will submit to noone by force, but through friendship, I can give you much and serve this place well."
*holds out an enormous hand in a gesture of friendship*
"What say you?"
