OOC: Well thank you for making assumptions. Who brought the villian into play in the first place, establishing a grudge between my character and my NPC. I am not interfering with Pam's story, just making it elaborate and interesting. If you would have waited, you would have realized this:
IC:
As the two fall down the hill, the are jolted apart. As they tumble, Zero looks over and sees the mage grasp an amulut hidden under his robe. All of the sudden, the sorcoror starts to slow down in his tumble, until he comes to a comlete halt and regains his footing. Appalled and angered at the same time, Zero pull free his dirk and jams it into the ground, slowing his descent but failing to stop due to his size and momentum.
As Zero continues to slid down the steep hillside, the sorceror laughs.
"How foolish yet utterly ammusing for you to think that would work. Who do you think you are to defy me so. You shall taste of my power, but first, there is the matter of you woman to deal with."
Laughing bitterly, the Sorceror climbs back up the hillside and dissapears. As Zero is left sliding, he sees a small nitch in the side. Flinging himself towards it, he grabs on and stops his desent. Looking down, he realizes his feet are dangleing over the entrance to a cave. Taking and deep breath, he starts to swing his lower body back and for, gathering momentum and flinging himself into the cave entrance. Landing with a heavy *thud* and a "Omph!!" Zero lies there for a second.
Rising with slight soreness, he realizes that he is at the entrance to a series of tunnels, probably old mining shafts. Wanting to get back to the surface quickly, he chooses a tunnel and starts to run down it. Sword drawn, desperation on his face, the Father of Shadows disapears.

You can run....but you'll just die tired.
