Slipping in and out of the shadows in a telport like manner, Zero sees a flicker of light and halts. Emerging from the shadows, he follows the the light to the source. As he walks around a bend in the tunnel, he is taken aback to find a large temple made of what appears to be a deep saphire. Walking cautiously to the steps leading up to the entrance, Zero gathers his defensive spell and climbs the steps. When he reaches the entrance, he is aghast to find there is no entrance!
With a heavy sigh of dissapointment and frustraition, he turns to head back down. As he does, he notices a shifting in the corner of his eye. Getting curious, he turns back around to see an open space shaped like a door frame where there was once solid wall. Growing even more suspectable, he draws his sword silently and enters.
Inside, it is vass and bright with high, flat ceilings. There is a throne on an elevated dias. On the throne rests the bones of an apparent king, for he still wears his crown and decor, and his sword rests on his lap. The first thing Zero notices is that the crown and sword are as withered as the bones they rest on. Immediatly, the next thing he notices, is that the ring one one of the fingers looks emaculate in condition, and pulses slightly.
Walking forward carefully, to get a better look, Zero leans down. The ring grows brighter the closer he gets and is practicly flashing vividly now. All of the sudden, as Zero reaches for the ring, hoping to remove it, the skeleton grasps his hand firmly and displays a wicked grin.
"Did you think it would be so easy my boy? To steal from the dead is to become of the dead. Let us see if you are worthy of this ring..."
As the old king rises, Zero tries to release himself but it is no use. The animated skeleton chuckles at his attempt.
"You've to proof your worth to me now. Should you defeat my elite, I will give you this ring.....and your life."
Pulling his hand back, the king suddendly strikes Zero in his chest with an open palm. As Zero is sent sprawling down to the floor below the dias, he notices more doorlike entrances opening and heavily armed skeletons pouring through.
"At your move dragon spawn."
Zero brandishes his sword and gathers his magic, bracing himself for a battle he does not know if he will win, but hopes he does....

You can run....but you'll just die tired.
