When it comes down to it, yes, i would fight if england was invaded, otherwise, no.
You can't just say people who don't want to join the army without the draft are cowards either. I don't see you in the army right now spoon.
I never said you were a coward because you couldn't join. I said most of these people are the same types who would dodge a draft during a time of crisis. That's right, I said MOST. Also, I couldn't join either, thanks to asthma I couldn't run like the military would like me too.
I'm not saying you have to support our motives or even like our government in the slightest, even those of us who voted for Bush are irritated with some of the things he's done. I think that calling someone stupid for fighting for something they believe in is just downright dumb and probably means the one slinging such comments would not do the same even if they believed in the cause.
So, even if you don't support the war at least support the troops, I mean they are putting their lives on the line. Nothing is more disheartening for a soldier than to hear that the people back home HOPE he fails or that he gets pulled out leaving the job his friends died for unfinished.

You are no different to us. My ancestors fought and died for my freedom, just like your ancestors died for yours. If I don't want to go to serve in some bureaucrat's oil war, then I will not (not that I'll have to, tee-hee). Sure, I'm a nationalist and a patriot, but I will only take up a weapon for self-defence. If my country is being invaded, I'll go and enlist and fight with my life. But I will never, ever join the brainwashed horde who believe everything that their corrupt government tells them and sacrifice my life so that they can have a higher salary. The entire war in Iraq is founded on lies and propaganda. If you want to go and fight for your almighty President, be my guest, but people should never be forced to sacrifice their lives for a corrupt cabinet.
Nobody is being forced, that's the point of what I've been saying about the draft. The men and women fighting in Iraq are not there for oil, even if that's what many believe it's about, they're there for their own personal reasons...like saving a third world country from murderous dictators, or stopping corrupt clan leaders from warring with each other in the streets killing hundreds of innocents.
I have one last thing to say to this comment and that's this:
Quote:...I will only take up a weapon for self-defence.
What about in someone else's defence?
