And I think Bill Gates deserves every penny he's made. To say a man doesn't deserve what he worked his whole life to earn is rediculous.

Although he isn't the kind of guy that spends it all on ultraluxury (as far as I know he doesn't own an island and that kind of rediculous stuff), it's too much compared to what others earned in their life.
Bill Gates is just an example of being rediculously rich, and not doing anything to get richer (if he goes to a bank... he can get quite some interest!)

But we're talking about taxing the rich. Why donate to charity helping to fight malaria, but complaining about taxes? After all, taxes won't ever take back what you earned, they will only take some of your income. Do you think Bill Gates would be bothered to pay 50% tax on his whole income if he still gets filthy rich of it? I don't think so. After all, the money is going to his kids who didn't earn it themselves. Perhaps they deserve it, but they did not earn it. Just look at all those kings and elite, the kids just profit of the work of their parents.
