Nobody ever uses the discussion, so I'm going for it.
Mitch, do you think it needs to be said that the signatures must be made using MSPaint? It says nowhere on the SOTW#6 that it must be made with the program Microsoft Paint, only that the theme is MSPaint. A tribute to MSPaint and all its glory could be made in PS, and technically be accepted (presuming it follows the rest of the rules).
Be careful doing this kind of thing. It can possibly alienate individuals not running Windows (although maybe there is some kind of virtual program they can run that will allow them to emulate MSPaint, and maybe it can even run on its own; in this case you'd want to let them know how they can do it) who want to give the SOTW a shot.
Good luck all! So far (up to schmidz) my favorites are Skye and Neth. Skye, nice siggy and explanation. Yes, I know it's SOTW, not SOTW+essay of the week, I still like the scene. Neth's is also quite nice, must have been a lot of effort put into that sucker, especially picking the right shades for realistic purposes.
Best of luck to any and all in this week's entries!
