He's got a point there. There was a definitive starting point for the universe. Time is infinite, as far as we know. How long was the matter that was part of the big bang sitting there before it exploded outwerd? Since you have to assume it was a *very* long time, what was the catalyst? Logically, the probability that the catalyst was itself is very low. What else could it have been? No one knows for sure, but God is just as likely as anything else anyone can throw out there.
