Proving God's existence would deny faith. If you KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that somethign exists, because you have seen it first hand...then how can you have faith? You now have fact. A major point made by Christianity is that God will never prove his own existence because he wants people to have faith.
Which I think is just their response to "we can't prove we're right."
