Just to note on post: If you have a DHCP IP that is given to you from your ISP, then they will not just give u one for restarting. Your Modems MAC address is logged into the DHCP server and places into a DHCP Scope. Normal Admins set this for every 7 Days but sometimes longer. You will pull the same IP address ever time until your lease expires. This is with most but not all ISP's
Also, Your internal network also know as your NAT network is unaffected buy the IP banned. anything that starts with 192.168 is Private. They CAN ONLY SEE WHAT IS AFFECTED IN THE APPLICATION LAYER of Diablo 2. There is no way blizzard can find your internal IP address since it is collected into a ARP table on your router then transformed into your REAL IP address. Once this is done your router will put a header and a trailer on the packet so it can ID it when the packet is sent back. So all packets from Real IP to Blizzards server is all the info they get. Once this is done your router will put its Header and trailer on the packet so it can ID its self when the packet is sent back. Your Router is the only system that knows your NAT network and your internal private ip address.
So i kinda dumped on this thread sorry ;p
