If it sets anything straight, you can't go back to harro and socket and re-socket an item, thereby gaining extra sockets (to add them up in succession). The people who said you can't get more than a single socket on a non-mod'd unique (so: not unique bone visage, for example, which can come with 2 sockets and can't have more added to it) are following a rule which is basically (I can't confirm if it's universally) right. 6 sockets on a corpsemourn doesn't currently occur on closed realms. :o
