well being the victim myself of the major dupe-deletion spree that blizz recently embarked upon, i've looked back on the experience and wondered, in the middle of the process, the duped runes in the item were deleted, but the characteristics temporarily remained, before the connection interrupted and the item was completely deleted, if there was a bug possible to use the unsocket formula (or something of the like) to remove the empty sockets that were still occupied by seamingly transparent runes (i couldn't socket anything into the os in the duped runes place during the deletion) if one were to use this unsocket formula, would the properties remain on the item, (as it was shown during deletion) and the item was permed, (because it would register that the duped runes were removed from the item... i don't know if any of this holds any logical presumptions, or if i'm just being a dumbass and it's easily disprovable, but if this happens to ne1, try it out for me? if your at the point of having the duped runes deleted anyways, you have nothing to lose right?
