Look at this idea that I tought:
All starts at the Rogue Encampment where the characters meet up and discuss the situation about the world and the crisis that is happening at the moment. They agree that they must help each other fight against the Prime Evils and so, thus beggining their journey.
All characters will use all their skills at mid-high potential depending on the situation and the location. There should also be some Unique Items reference of some kind like for example, Izual telling the characters that his Azurewrath sword lies stored by Hephasto since the assault he made against the Hellforge when he fell corrupted by the Prime Evils. Now a brief explanation of the Acts and their NPC's:
Act 1:
Charsi is a barbarian girl who was born in the same city as our Barbarian hero, Harrogath. She is very fond and atracted by the Barbarians and eventually falls in love with our Barbarian character from the plot. She works as a Blacksmith in the Encampent and will outfit our heroes with the starting equipment they need.
Warriv is a merchant from the route Rogue Encampment - Lut Gholein that is always willing to help people with what is at his reach. He will help our party get to Lut Gholein after the Monastery Gates are open again to the travellers.
Gheed also travelled with Warriv once, but since he got to the Rogues' Encampment, he will stay there to make business with them. The secret of Gheed's wealth lies on his magical charm Gheed's Fortune.
Kashya the Rogue Warchief was one of Blood Raven's closest friends and she is now seeking revenge over Andariel for corrupting her friend and making her fall to the temptations of Evil.
Akara, the Spiritual Leader of the Rogues and High Priestess of the Order of the Sightless Eye. She is always aware of the dangers outside the Encampment and protects her sisters with her powers. Powers that nobody has seen in action before...
Flavie is the most trusted Lieutenant of Kashya outside the camp and commands the Rogues in minor battles and missions. She guards the entrance to the Cold Plains and warns adventurers about the dangers outside. Flavie wields the Unique Hydra Bow Windforce as her weapon.
Deckard Cain is one of the few survivors of the wasted town of Tristam (can there be more?) He tells the characters about the Hero of Tristam who defeated Diablo and became corrupted by his Dark Demonic Powers.
Act 2:
Lysander, a potion alchemist is the mid of the three Alchemist Brothers of the land of Sanctuary. His younger brother Pepin who lived in Tristam is believed to be killed by Diablo's demons when the town was destroyed. Only Lysander and Alkor, the older brother remain alive.
Jerhyn is the former Lord of Lut Gholein, the young ruler of one of the main cities in Sanctuary, he has a big task ahead. He will receive our heroes in the city of Lut Gholein when they arrive. Jerhyn is a close friend to Warriv and has a respect for Warriv's friends and he says: "Warriv's friends are my friends".
Atma is the owner of the public house and tavern of Lut Gholein. She recently lost her family in a tragedy when her husband and her son went down to the sewers to investigate the noises coming from it. They were brutally slain by Radament. She will provide shelter to our heroes during their stay in Lut Gholein by order and payment of Jerhyn, even though she was willing to give service for free to our heroes. She owns a powerful armor crafted by a Mage-Blacksmith from Kurast, the Unique Embossed Plate Atma's Wail.
Fara is an Ex-Member of the Church of Light from where is our Paladin character. She retired after knowing of corruption and greed within the church. She was trained as a Paladin of the Zakarum but is not currently in service. She offers Blacksmithing and Healing-By-Auras in the city.
Drognan, an aged wizard of an unknown mage-clan, is secretly somewhat related to the Horadrim. He seldom speaks with the townsfolk and when he does, words of wisdom come out of his mouth. He will help our heroes with knowledge and Magical Items that may be of use in their journey.
Elsix a now retired bandit, knows a lot about the dangers of the desert, will help our heroes with locations and methods of surviving in the desert that even the Druid didn't know.
Geglash is Farnharm's cousin and asks our heroes if they have seen him when they went to Tristam. Geglash doesn't know that Tristam has been destroyed some time ago and that his only family, his cousin, could be dead. Is a sad story this of Tristam...
Greiz is the Mercenary Captain in the city of Lut Gholein. He commands the Desert warriors that have been hired by Jerhyn to guard the city from the dangers of the Desert.
Kaelan is Greiz' right hand and his trusted companion. He guards the Palace entrance.
Act 3, 4 and 5 to come later. Hope This Helps.
