I am thinking of making a throwing barb and could not find any guides about this.
This is my skills that I think I'm going to use----
20 Double Swing
20 Double Throw
20- Battle Orders
20- Throwing Mastery
3- Natural Resistances
3- Increased Speed
1- Bash
1- Find Potion
1- Find Item-- for second drops
1- Grim Ward-- to give me some room
1-Leap
1- Leap Attaack
1- Sword Mastery
1- Increased stamina
1- Frenzy
1- Howl
1- Shout
1- battle command
---TOTAL-- 99 skillpoints-- lvl 89 completed build
---STATS---
Str- enough to use my items
Dex- Enough for gimmersheds
Vit- Rest
Energy-None
---Equipment---
Helm--Arreats—with a 40/15 ed/ias jewel
Armor--Fortitude
Weps--2 x Gimmershed throwing axes
Belt--Verdungoes
Rings--Ravenfrost
Bk/ dual leech ring
Boots--Goreriders
Gloves--Dracs grasp/steelrends
Amulet--Highlords Wrath
Switch--2 Fury swords
Fury swords are for charging up Frenzy and then switching to double throw so I will have mad crazy IAS.
My merc would be a Holy Freeze Merc with a Pride, for the concentration aura.
another option for a merc would be a Barb Merc. With a Doom for Holy Freeze and then the Runeword theat gives lvl 9 Fanat, I can't remember right now, but this would be if I am close to a IAS Breakpoint. Correct me if I'm wrong about the barb mercs being able to dual wield because my friend says they can't. And can someone post the IAS breakpoints plz, because i dont have them.
I would like some suggestions on this build and if its good. thanks

Dont use Coh.
As a barb you wont have trouble with resistance.
I think you should use a Fort/Enigma, as for gloves look for something among 20 ias/knockback

barbs can only use swords, either 1 or 2 handed, and sadly no dual wield.
Nigma FTW
actually, with frenzy your run speed is CRAZY high, so maybe fort or a high levi. Its so hard being green...

I changed my amulet to a Highlords for the IAS, skill, and deadly strike.
I see your point about the CoH and I've changed it to a fort.
The gloves are a good idea but i don't have the patience to find those. But I'll keep an eye out.

They would be better for PvP, but gimmersheds will take care of PIs and will do a lot of elemental and normal damage, and i don't need lacerators speed, as i have crazy IAS right now, and i might switch my helm to a IAS helm, or my armor to a IAS armor. Im still not sure wot axze to use, but I'm leaning towards gimmershreds.

I only see one problem with your build, since ur using the throwing axes, you should get both masteries, axe and throwing..it will bump up ur dmg alot more then just having 1 mastery....

Throw barbs suck by default. Sorry, Diablo is not a balanced game.

I think he requested help....this seems to happen a lot, if you don't like a build then it sucks.
PErsonally I have never tried and double throw barb but you seem to know what you need, I would like to know your damage once you are done.
my sig! where ever did it go?

if its fun to play, then it works. stop enforcing the cookie cutters, and encourage people to be fun and different. if this guy wants to make a throw barb, help him to make it work.
i just make this sig recently to teach people not to play with fire.

I'm not enforcing jackshit. Quite on the contrary, I did give him valuable advice by telling him in advance that the build sucks, otherwise he might come back here and be like: "Wawawa the build sucks", get it?
Sure, it's up to you, but I certainly don't encourage people to spend hours on something that will be a massive disappointment in the end.

Let me just say that with my throwing barb #1 useast last ladder (not many others)
that pvm for me my favorite weapons were ethereal warshrikes, but ofc you need to wait for them to repair, I couldn't stand lacerators, with their monster flee mod. The main problem is your weapons get used up insanely fast. But anyway here is the gear:
arreats face
fortitude
2x weapons whichever you decide upon
razortail belt <---piercing attack (you want this) and adds decent dmg with the dex
20ias knockback gloves prefer with stats/resists, yes you will want the knockback
angelic ammy+ring / leech ring+highlords / leech ring+metalgrid
ravenfrost
wartravelers <---add lots of dmg / gores (these for bosses)
torch
anni
max/ar/life charms
My barb pvp had most trouble beating smiters / ww barbs (those damn max block sheilds and damage reduce)
I would have to resort to ww myself which I maxed
btw always looking for throwbarb vs throwbarb east nl /w *dylanwaters
skills:
20 double swing
1 double throw <--- this only gives attack rating, and I never needed that myself.
1 axe mastery
20 whirlwind
20 battle orders
20 throwing mastery
1 increased speed
1 natural resist
1 battle command
axe mastery because I would use ww with a fools axe throwing weapon in duels.
(of for you if you decide to ww with gimmershred)
Axe mastery does not add with throwing mastery just so you know.
Rare godly throwing weapons are only for duels, because they tend to have 80 or so max stack.
I believe with my mercs might+concentration auras I hit ~40k damage (this was with my rare throwing weapons ofc and all my charms)
With might / conc I think you should be able to hit ~10k max damage (possibly more) with non eth throwing weapons that are unique. (without too many charms)
