Honestly, I'm tired of all the media attention that Anonymous is getting. It seems that's the only thing they started out after, pure media attention. Now it's just another aimless internet group, except their cliche' 'Anonymous' tagline allows for thousands of bandwagon posers to play 'hacker'.
I can't recall one noteworthy thing they've done so far. They've said they would do a lot, going to the extent of saying they would take down FB and then threatened the Zeta Cartel. Yet....what have they delivered but empty threats?
Would be interested in hearing some other thoughts on this. Personally, I can't find myself admiring a group like Anonymous. I look more towards groups like the Computer Chaos Club, with anti-government movements dating back to before I was even born. They're not saying they're going to do something, they're just going out and doing it. And this group is running strong to this day.
