Orb Sorc Build

Ok i'm goin to build a orb sorc i know what skills to use the thing is i need to know how much str to give and dex. Thanx for the input.

well about 77-93 str depending on what items you are usin... and dont put any into dex

If you're going to use Occy, no dex. If you're going to use Wizzy, a little dex. Enough str & Dex for gear, and I always add about 50 extra base points into energy. Rest into vitality. As far as build goes, I always max Bolt, Orb, Mastery, Static, and Teleport. Why Static and Teleport? Because I'm a merc-type man. If I can't kill them, he does.

whats with the only 50 eng .. thats crazy u would run out after only a few attacks .. also your energy sheild would suck. you should use alest 200eng... or you will get owned in hell

How I built my Orb sorc:

Gear-

Occy
Shako -Topazed-
2xSojs
Goldwrap
Lidless wall
Tal's ammy
War Travelers -45%-
Magefist

Inventory:
Mf small charms -5%+-
No Cold Gcs
No Anihilus -This character was built when 1.10 started so Anihilus was all too rare-

Stats:
Enough Str for gear -I think around 110 base-
No Dex -You shouldn't need to worry about blocking if you are a sorc-
Energy 100 -It may seem a lot but it works out perfectly-
Vitality Remaining points

Skill Tree:
Orb and its masteries
1-3 Points into Cold mastery
1 point into warmth
Teleport -DUH-
5 points into Energy Shield
Last points into Thunder Storm

With that build I did about 600+ orb damage. You could also use the Tal's set and get about the same amount of damage -only about 50 less.

You have much more points avaliable your you than that.

Max Orb
Max Ice Bolt
Max Cold Mastery
Max Thunderstorm
Rest into Lightning mastery

Note that orb is a TIMED SPELL, which means that you won't need much energy for this build, and lightning is just a one cast spell. Most of your energy will probably be used to Teleport, anyways.
