Strength glitch?

does ne1 knoe of a str glitch. ive heard of people talk about it in tha game but i hav knoe idea what it is. ne1 help

and also does it matter if i get a merc fr norm n lvl it or get tha same merc from hell?

havent played d2 in a while so couldn't help ya with str glitch, probably out there, wouldnt be surprised if it was and as for mercs, mercs change through difficulties with different skills but if ur saying you want to keep a merc from norm then yea lvl it, it would just take a longer time then one from hell or nm

i think if ur using a normal merc with defiance for sorc and u lvl it to +90 its stronger then a hell merc at 90

the str glitch just means u dont have enough str to use wear your items so their seen as invisible by other people

normal merc at lvl 90 gets more hp than the hell merc at lvl 90...

yea the str glitch is when people cant see your weapon because you dont have enough str to use it

INVISIBLE ITEMS

Wear an item with +str and/or +dex which requires +str and/or +dex bonus from other item, Once they are equipped remove the 2nd item and the first one will still work and will use the str/dex it provides to "hold itself" and also will become invisible.

Example

You start with 200 strength, you put on a storm shield now you have 230 strength, now you put on a sword that requires 240 strength (but the sword also has +40 strength), now you take the storm shield off, the sword adds the extra strength needed to keep itself equipped. But its a bug so the sword is also invisible.

and about the merc thing, it's true what they're saying, when you take a merc from norm and level it to 90, say, then the hell merc that is leveled to 90 willl have 1) less hp 2)all skills levels -2

so trhe norm merc has 2 more skill levels...dont ask me why

yea but u guys r forgettin to mention to him thats it mainly is teh key of haveing gc or sc'c with +dex and str. thats wut usually gets it invisable .....just to let you know u can do it that way too...thast how most do it

well it doesnt matter really b/c really now days most peeps have mh thats shows what peeps wear ne way...but if you good you dont care if they c ur items or not....

for str glitch u must get the necessary str from charms i think

hmm doesnt this glitch mean that when u die and go to pick up ure bod, u wont have enough str to use those items that u needed to 'glitch' to wear? Having to go back to ure stash to get ure gear back on = v.annoying.

Yep, and if people cant see your items when you arent doing the glitch, it means you dont have enough base str to wear them.
