To all 'single' players

Hi,
this is a message to all single players out there, if anyone is interested in discussing Diablo 2 in single player mode just send a reply to this. Maybe even trading/comparing unhacked characters.

Comparing.. ok what charecter u have? Actually i hava a sorc lvl 73 and an amazon lvl 55, im playing hell with my amazon by now..

as far as trading goes, we can just swap the save game files (d2s I think). Should be a bit of fun, so long as the characters are unhacked. I have a lvl 59 spearazon, but I stupidly hacked that one without backing up, I do have a copy of when she was about lvl 45. This character I'm finding really tough work, especially defeating the ancients at arreat summit.
I also have a paladin which I'm concentrating on at the moment, he's at lvl 42. Got one each of the other classes, all about lvl 30.
Do you think trading sounds like a good idea?

why dont u just go on OPEN bnt to trade?

battlenet is no fun for me, slow internet connection. Besides is it actually possible to trade single player characters, I'm not talking about equipment etc, its just the save files that need to be swapped.

y but if u go on OPEN and create a game ur comp is the server so it just like playing single player

1. I can't log into battlenet full stop
2. I'm not talking about trading equipment, I'm talking about trading CHARACTERS. i.e. person x sends person y their save game file, for person y to play at their leisure
so theres no actual playing involved

i've never have success trying to connect to b.net, it could never check the version of my game, that's what it says (i think it refers to my key), and my game totally legal, and i thing that broadband is needed to play without problem and i dont have broadband by the moment.

snipzy, so let me check what can i do for tranding chars.

hmm i dont think its anythin to do it ur modem. u should go to blizzard.com or battle.net and look at forums 4 help

I was refering to play with confort and fast, i didnt mean that the problem for checking my key was directly related to the dial-up connection.

Wich is the ideal ping for playing online? Also, for asking help in the b.net forums i need an account, that can be got it just by entering the b.net servers via your game (as far as i know), so if i can get play in b.net, i dont have an account and i can post in the b.net forum..

Gaz, I was on about legit characters, if I requested hacked ones, I'd get a whole heap of hardcore characters, don't really want that.

you might not be able to connect to open bnet for some reasons.
1. the key was from a key generator
2. aols firewall is preventing gameplay
3. certain routers prevent server play.

I'm all for your char trading idea! Right now I have 2 unhacked characters worth trading: A really good lv.85 javazon and a not as good lv.43 druid (the one that got killed by the unique foul crow nest ).

I have a few now. Since Closed asia banned my sorceress, i decided to turn it into a single player character. so i have my closed sorceress as a single player file now.

you shouldnt do multiple posts like that. double posting gets you in trouble enough as it is. all you're doing is spamming when you do posts like that.
