New Sorcs?

I've seen a recent wave of new sorc builds. Well, not really new builds, but new gear setups. Some using Sanctuary, etc. I recently ran across a GODLY lightning sorc charged bolting everybody. It was SICK. Nobody could kill him, he had oodles of life, it appeared as if he had no gear on. A pally charged him using an eBoTD Zerk and connected about 4 times and the sorc didn't die. Anybody care to write a guide or explain him being seemingly invincible? And why it appeared as if he had no gear on.

haha I have a light sorc like that, owns in dueling 'cause charged bolt maxed out with syns deals over 2k dmg and it fires 24 bolts so thats 2k dmg each bolt so if you do that math thats:

2000 x 24 = 48 000 damage. The damage is also lowered and the chances of 24 bolts actually hitting one person all at once is pretty small so more like 5 bolts would hit him but even that would do pretty massive damage. I also have badass FCR so its a constant wave of bolts.

he used str / dex charms to put on gear, the gear he had on had STR, he took away his STR charms, now his gear is invis

haha yup and I dont have to write a full guide its just pretty simple.

For skills just max lighting, chain lighting, charged bolts and other one thats gives syn to all of these.

For stats

Str - around 90, you dont need much and your gear will aid you with more
Dex - 100 not much because dex doesn;t really affect skills unless your melee like a zon.
Life and mana - put the rest of your skills into these. Lighting takes alot of mana and you need life to withstand hits.

Gear:

Im only doing rich gear 'cause I would have to look up poor gear but for rich..

Helm - Either shako 5/5 light facet or griffon 5/5 light facet
Armor - Enigma, 5/5 light facet/ 3 to chain lightning skill/ 15% light damage
Weapon - hoto or that temper orb that gives light and fire % damage
Sheild - SS for DR or lidless for an extra skill
Gloves - Wizspike gloves, good luck trying to find them -very expensive, 2nd choice would be magefist or trangs for FCR or frostburn for more mana
Boots - Sand trek for more vita
Rings - Dual sojs
Ammy- magic 3 to light skill ammy, crafter 2 to sorc skills with nice mods, or maras for more res
Belt - Arachnids
Charms - Light Gcs with vita on them, shimmering small charm of vita - 5% res/20 Vita -

Could you post a pic of those gloves? Why not Waterwalks instead of Treks?

the gloves are just like normal gloves but with the stats of the wizardspike (really cool), it's only west right?

2. chain lightning is bad for pvp
use lightning

and charged bolt would really hurt

ok that's what i thought, cuz chain lightning do like 1/4 of lightning dmg and cost 2x more mana lol
