Hey. I was just thinking about starting a ladder character rather than continuing non-ladder, just because of the non-dupes and competitive nature of it. I was wondering, when you started out, what was the first character you'd make? Obviously an mf character but what kind? I am kind more looking for suggestions than asking, but please feel free to help XD.

Edit: I have heard Blizz sorc are the best for beginning. Is this true?

sorcs are best for beginnners when you get rich enough start a hammerdin. If you want a melee starter try a zealot

Riiight, you just said for beginners sorcs are good and cheap. Yet you just said get a zealot for a starter for melee?? Most exspensive character. And don't even say you can get cheap gear, because they just suck for PvP AND PvM then.

if u want a cheap melee char go with a barb they can hold their own. or a poison necro they can seriously own every thing.

barb's arent that cheap..they still require a botd for a weapon and Raven spirals as good rings. I also suggest a barb for dueling and a bliz sorc to start off with for mf.

First of all...mf sorc...[blizz sorc..]
earn ur items from there...u can spend 1 whole month mfing...manual i mean...no bots allowed :p:p
once u get richer and richer...i suggest making erm...er...summoner?Nec summoners are cool....and dun really need to be that rich to be successful...its all up to u....i realise all chars are expensive lol...
melee=r.spiral/ebotd/290s[pdscs]
elemental=5/5 FACETS!! Man...i hate this lol...

alfzZz knows his stuff... basically... a blizz sorc can do successful meph runs naked... most other sorces cant... keep mfing meph until your sorc gets items then trade items then keep mfing more n more until your sorc gets very strong

lol...of course i do lol...
naked sorc cant really tele through durance lv 2...1 hit boom ure dead...or if u accidentely tele into a group of maulers...[forgot spelling]...ure dead too...no matter how much fhr u have...
occy...viper...shako/peasant....and some dencent boots/gloves shud be able to go through lv 2 safely...remember some fhr charms in ur inventory are essential...if u want...
so summoner shud be quite fun...no need rspirals..290s...facets...just ur minions alone!! SmileSmile

zealots expensive? nahhh i have a ladder one that does a good 1k per swing and he doesnt use any uniques

1k per swing kills nothin lol...
my crappy one does 1-4k dmg...schaefers...
IMO...xzealots are dumb...i rather stick to summoners for starters...fun tho...
best to do HC...

I made summoner necro and di mf runs with him Till ig ot gear for my blizz sorc. Took me about a week to get him 85. Then 2 weeks of doing pindle meph countes andy to get gear for my sorc. Now i just use my necro to help rush people in tnadem with my sorcy

1 week??? I can be lv 70 in a day if im lucky...2 days max...unless im really lazy and dun feel like d2ing..

i used my summoner in tandem with my sorcy to rush people. Tnadem means i sue both. I was only able to play 1 to 2 hrs a day so yeah i didnt say i was fast but college is mor eimprant then d2

Back to the zeal pally thing. Mine does around 5-6k dmg per swing. I wonder what a 1200 botd mauls dmg would be on a zealot... Undecided
