Hi I need some help for my friend. Everytime i whisper to my friend on b.net, I get a message that says "This player is muted and cannot whisper back" or sumthing like that. plz reply and tell me what to do. THX

It might mean that you accidently blocked him or he blocked you.....i dont know the solution been a while sense ive play but theres the problem probably

If he uses a bot, or even a muted CD-key he can only talk inside a game.

The hard way is ussually just to either phone him and ask him which channel he is in and then look for his character and click on it and click unsquelch and ask him to do the same thing..if you cannot call him because hes only a d2 friend then find which game he goes into and follow him and tell him to go into a channel you make and then you guys can unsquelch each other...I really dont know if there is a way you can just type it on d2.
