help on hacks

First of all I want everyone to know that i am retarded at computers in general so do get mad if i dont understand right away.....

i want to be able to hack open b.net. i downloaded what i thougth was hacks but i cant get them to work. they arent programs but a patch i think. what do i need to do to make the hacks work?

i forgot to mension that the 'patches' i have downloaded are all .rar files, i hope that gives u a more specific idea of how to help me. thx.

first of all, good things to download are c3p0 maphack, cheaters choice mod3, and hero editor, that all should get u started.

i downloaded the hacks i was told to in the previous post, but it doesnt work. i get an error that says:

Component 'TABCTL32.OCX' or one of its dependencies no correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

i was wondering if i needed to load another program to allow the hacks to run with it.
if there is another program or u know the answer to the problem, let me know!
