Help With Hero Editor

once i dowload the editor and i clik open to go open my char it doesnt detect any character fileson my saved folder for diablo 2?? ne1 no y??or care to help??

your characters might be 09 version, or you downloaded a cheap version of hero editor, make sure its v0.7
(and you know it can only modify 1player chars right?)

I just downloaded the .7 version, and ran into the same problem. I really have no idea if my chars are .09 version. how do you tell? i created most of my chars all within the last 3 months or so. some mules very recently. Also, what do you mean by 1 player char only? Do you mean only downloaded the solo part of the game? not multi? Please let me know. Thank you.

the character editors edit your 1player characters. open battle.net uses your closed account names, but it uses your 1player characters.

the patch came out last september i believe, so any chars before then.

try downloading Hero Editor v 7.1 Seems like it works with all files
