its self-explanatory.
but we know a good sorc mf should have a decent merc with her.
i got yesterday playing with andy on my hammerdin , an eth bonehew.. its not perf, actually 289% , but still, better than buying one.
my new sorc mfer (lite sorc mfer just doesnt work. sad, she was lv92) is a meteorb, will equips that eth bonehew on the merc.
so i got a helm, armor and 2socks on bonehew to put thing into. i am not exactly poor, i can afford some good stuff.
could u help me ?
i was thinking on p gaze on helmet, dunno, 20%DR and 8%life leech should be condsiderated(maybe eth gaze?)... and armor... well i dont find many eth carapaces around, so i think i should just go with Stone 2kdef+ , should i ?

Okay, I'll help ya here, on my lvl 95 merc hes got a 3k+Stone/Eth Cryptic Doom and .09 Gaze (um'd), what you have right now is just fine especially for a Sorc. Your doing good. I would get a High, High Stone armor if I were you.

hmmmmm nice tip corona...but what my merc use is kira(for risists,fhr, and can not be frozen) then get 4sock eth pole arm and make insight(Ral,Tir,Tal,Sol) they give med so its nice for sorc then for armor i agree with stone armor or maybe use duress for the damage. if ur gonna be using caprice then put 2x 40ED jewle on it. sry for the long description T_T

lol, i would just use eth stone, kira(reason above), and probably bonehew or eth insight. i like the med cause u dont lose mana when ur teleing and u dont need pots to kill meph

Ethreal Bonehew: Amn-Shael, or Amn-Amn. If you wanna be a baller, get a higher % Ethy and Ohm-Ohm it, or even 40-15 40-15 it. That would be ownage. Isn't Hew's perf at 320? 320+50+50=420 ED? Perf E Bonehew at 420 ED. Jesus.
Vampire Gaze: 8 LL, 20 DR.(Assuming you're ladder. NL get the 25DR Gaze.) Ethreal would be ideal, but non ethreal is fine.
Defense is pretty irrelivant I find on mercanaries. That is, unless Defensive is the Defiance merc. I am under the impression it's the freeze merc. It's been too long and I do not remember. Defiance merc = Eth Stone for sure(or even Ethreal FOrtitude if you can afford it). If the Freeze merc, use Shaftstop. If you use Shaftstop, ethreal, again, would be ideal. IME it really does not matter. The DR is what makes your merc survive, not 300 extra defense points.
In my experience, Nightmare mercs are always better. More health and strength/dexterrity points int he long run. That's just my understanding, though. I've always baught NM Mercs.

My merc is a lvl 70 or 71 act 2 Defiance...anyway he has a Crown of Thieves (helm) / Griz (armor) all open sockets / and a mid to low lvl rune word Insight w/ lvl 12 meditation...not bad actually...oh yeah, he is teamed up with my Summoning Necro
