ok well i dont know shit about hex editing or changing the program files to work. but i do know that the "bad dead bodies" message appears because the item that you got from the pack isnt 1.10. a lot of assholes out there just took 09 item packs and changed the name to 1.10 probably just to gain undeserved attention. im sure someone here has 1.10 item packs, just ask around.

I can't think of a better life to have. I am on work comp and single play d2 all time. Its just that the 1.10 monsters are so much tougher in single play that I need an editor to upgrade the legit on my body once in awhile. I make magic find and extra gold charms which is the only hack I use, but the drops are still shit as always. After five years of off line play I did know that there were such great 1.09 uniques until I saw them at arreat summit as well as the runes you never see dropped. I noticed Trayne posted a pdf file of 1.10 uniques that I downloaded but apparently I need a 3 1/2 inch flooppy to complete to the file placement ???? Da dont know whats up with that yet. I am starting to think your right about the items not being 1.10 because I had to loosen up the option control error message for warning about incompatible items before I could even get them imported onto my char. I assumed that because they were downloaded from this site that Spitfire probably looked them over. I know that some 1.09 items which have been introduced into the 1.10 version are converted and will transfer in and out of a 1.10 editor. Still on a learning curve the size of Mt. Everest. ................ Later ps Dont get a different life, you make my day.

[Not] Nublitoria, I not only think that computer science, or in business school, management information sysyems , would be an extremely exciting, self satisfying, lucrative and meaningful career but would be a profession you could pursue with infinite possibilities given the pace of technological advancement in that area. I , myself finished an MBA back in 1996 and never used it to make money. I was born into a family of high steel building erection iron workers and have made a trememdous amount of money erecting high steel as an Iron Worker over the past 25 years. I am sure that I am much older than you, and hesitate to admit the fact, given that I play computer games, which sounds somewhat wayward, but have been on workmens compensation following three back injuries in three years, ...... 3 surgurgies in 3 years, and have so much free time that , what the hell , I like d2. If you dont want to do a four year computer science s degree in business school. Its a choice I wish I could make all over again. I would have gotten both the computer science and lesser math intensive engineering degree in construction. There is a lot of money in either field just like there are financial rewards in in any computer related profession. Well ..... dont mean to bend your ear, ... its after one o'clock in St. Louis and I have to quit. I can tell you that actual practical job experience in computers combined with home study and networking contacts and career prospects could take the place of, and will always supplement, academic credentials , but will never replace a university degree with all of the above. Oh well , .... I am tired too ..... talk at you tommorrow.

Sorry to hear about the back surgeries! And there is nothing wrong with an adult liking computer games (or is there...) Anyway, hope you are up and working soon.
