What Is A Bot Exactly?

ok lt me get this strait...

what a bot does, for example pindlebot, is make a game

goes in portal,

kills pindle,

grabs drops,

leaves.


tell me if this is correct, and if so, what happens when you run out of room? does it stop?

can you tell it what items to pick up??

and my freind says it drops your items, i think thats crap ,but im still concerned

okay. a bot is a program, a script, that runs diablo for you. pindlebot is a fine example. your character creates a game and password with random names...and walks down to pindle, teleports, whatever. kills pindle and his minions. another script gauges what he drops as valuable or not, picks up good stuff and leaves bad stuff, and then saves the good stuff in your stash. when you run out of room it sells cheapest stuff, or stops running.

oh thx but what if you like found really good stuff like a wf then arrets, then nightwing or something, but then you have no room cant it backfire on you?

well if it got no room depending on bot but rite now it would just leave it and i know that in 1.10 the bots on drop items that suck out while killing bosses for a better item .. so ya it wont pick it up
