Resetting Point System...

Well, I agree with everyone who said this site was going to hell. Dyna is trying to change the whole site around. Soon this whole forum will just be about flaming Dyna if the points get removed or reseted.

oh ok thought that might have happened after reading that there a fifty/fifty chance of stealing or not. i withdrew all the points i got and it aint impresive. just goes to show how badly the point system can get.

When someone fails trying to steal points from you, do you get that many points from them?

Hmm, how about if a person has an XXX amount of money in the bank (say 50k+ points) then they get no interest at all? Then cap the amount of money a person can hold in their pocket. I guess people will still always have lots of money but it may stop them a little.

And Pant he said no auctions because its a waste if the point system decides to get reset. The points the person made would be gone.

dont say that these forums will be sub-par if the point system gets reset. it might get rid of some respected ppl but it will also get rid of a lot of greedy ppl. if anything the points were what led to this not dyna lol, just cause he/she spoke out for a lot of other ppl doesn't mean its all his/her fault. explain why the forums will go down the drain if the points go?.

People quit *****ing its just points, its not life, if you plan on leaving because your too ***** to actually live without points then leave. Your making this place worse by wasting space. You guys are starting to sound like Nubli who plans on leaving the US because Bush came to power, well **** him he can leave, nobody will care. Points dont equal power on the site. People like Skidude and others became corrupt and decide they need that 17th enigma for their mule. Dyna is correct with this idea. Well if it was my decision I would say get rid of points system all together. All it does is **** off newcomers, Cause corruption of members, and increase the spam by people. Maybe just have it so that you can't donate to people or you cant change other peoples user titles if you want to keep it, unless of course ur a mod. Prevent Mod auctioning however, skidude will use the rest of his points because he would be able to donate if you don't. That would fix the point problem created, and leave people to have the freedom of having fun with their name.

hey my time to weigh in

i like the idea of tradeing items for points (some might say im rich ) but i dont care it's the only way people in this forum are willing to buy anything ive tried to trade some of my things for runes but noone bites and when you get into lower end items that people seem to need what can you trade for your not going to pay rune's for them and the points let you abtain item that some people just dont keep anymore and just like all of you i was a newcomer once and i worked my way up to where i am now in this forum and in d2 game so why should we reset the point thing on one or two people unhappy wit it.

and even though you might think im greedy im not just ask the people that i've given deal to or just gave stuff to some not cheap stuff either i just seem like im greedy.

i think the point system we have here is just like on d2 it gives you bragging rights and what fun is it if you dont have something to brag about and yes im a botter and yes i have a few d2 sector points (94k)
