I do not know how many of you know who he is or read the newspaper regularly but one of the saddest things has happened recently. Arthur Miller a great American playwrite who wrote such plays as: "Death of A Salesman", "All My Sons" and "The Crucible" died at the age of 89. Personally this one of the most horrible things to happen recently.
I always think it sad when a pillar of american broadway theater dies. Its people like Arthur Miller who forced the american public to look inward and see how they were helping to tear apart the very fabric which America was founded on.
This is truely a sad day in American theater.

Pfft, I think Blink 182 breaking up is bigger news :/...
Sarcasm aside, This is bad, but you can't blame him dying, as he was 89. I did like Death of a Salesman. Just wish it wasn't a school production.

Arthur was a phenomenal writer. It's too bad that he had to go. We did The Crucible a couple of years ago in English, and it was a good play. I enjoyed it.

I've always liked the older writing more, but it is sad to see a good writer go.
I alway's thought he had a nice flowing pace in most of his work even if I didn't like his subjects I can still see that he was a great playwrite.
