Personally, I think that its a little overrated. I like to play sometimes, but my friends talk about it constantly. What do you think? /waits to be possibly flamed/

Well, yeah because it's the exact same as Halo 1 except better graphics and a few more features.

yes halo2 was overrated. Halo 1 was overrated. I'd sooner play half life or hl2 anyday over halo.

halo 1 was more groundbreaking than halo 2 (because it was the first one) i think that halo 2 is over rated among some people and is under rated bye others

i agree with silent, a few new weapons, vehicles, better graphics(?), bigger levels, that's about it..
i'd play socom2 over halo2 anyday. x-box live: pay monthly? NO. ps2 online:FREE! YES!

Halo 2 is fun to play every once in a while, but not every 5 seconds. Besides, you turn off the tank, they're annoying.

I play Halo 2 still, more for the fun of glitching or messing around. Fuji knows that 99% Im Glitching or playing custom games I make up like Zombie type thing or President/VIP shit. I also like to mess around online in "Team Training" People think they are badass by killing you when like you wont fire or you only will hit them with your gun and wont fire. Thats what keeps me playing the game. Socom 2 Was a great game, but there was only 1 type of play really, thats the real deathmatch/objective games. You cant make gametypes as you can in Halo. A level is a level, you cant customize the weapons around or any of that. Yes, ps2 online is free, but you must remember, XBL is virtually lagless. People use broadband only, on PS2 your stuck with that lame dialup ****er who lags the entire game. XBL you can play like CounterStrike, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six etc. Its not like that oh so "expensive" $4.17 a month is just killing all your savings. But back to Halo 2 and its ratings. Yes, the Single Player is overated, but the online play is amazing.

I was a Halo 2 supporter....untill I played Half - Life 2 for about an hour. halo 2 is the most overated game in history, the first one wasent even that great in my opinion, but they did nothing worthwile of a second game, i dont have a xbox, but my friend does and it took him like 17 hours to beat it.
killzone is much better then halo also.

I'm going to have to agree with Fuggle here. Halo 2 in my opinion sucked for single/split screen playing, but on XBL, It's alot better then Halo 1.

They didn't change enough in Halo 2 to make it stand out from the first, but the online version of Halo 2 owns all.
