str hack..?

how can u wear items without having your stats meet its requirements? besides using str charms. I know there is another way but i got confused when this guy was telling me how. I think there are like 3 different ways to do. One is str. building, where you switch and take off items? Please help me, my sorc needs to wear a shield that has 156 str req... i would rather put those points in vita. Thanks.

get a LOT of str charms, once u get the right amount of str put on the shield and take away the charms ull still have the shield on but it wont look it to others on bnet. (that is how "naked" chars. beat others so easy the dont look like their wearing anything but in reality the got nigma hoto botd and stormshield but u cant see it because the dont have the str to don it but its still on them)

What happens when you die? Like this sorc is going to be full of gcs, so when she picks up her body does the items go back on? or would I have to take the gcs out so i can hold the items in the inventory when i pick up my body... and then repeat process?

It's just when you use charms for the strength to use your gear, when you die you jsut pick up your body like normal...

u gota make sure that the item your puting on will add strenth also, like if you had 140 str and wonted to use stormshield then you could use str charms to get 156 str then take str charms off cuzz you will still have the 30 to str from stormshield so you will have 170 (140+30) but if u wont to use like spirit monarch then your out of luck

ok so if i have 77 str. and i want to wear a monarch shield that has a 156 str. req. when im lvl 56 (its a shield with 4 cold facets) that adds no str., adding 84 worth of str. charms would be worthless when i take them out? ... if this is true i just wasted a lot on buying str charms... plz.. someone tell me different.

ok all you need to EQUP. the items is the req. so you need 156 str. to use the shield but you only have 77, get str charms up to 156 put on the shield take out the str charms, the background of the shield will go red like u cant equp it but you will still have in on.

now when u die that causes problems. because it goes back to your inventory... so u can keep the charms in stash (if room) or u can keep in inventory so that when u go to pick up ur corps it goes stright to ur ...arm...or whatever.:eek:

what i do is stay low on str points.. then equip my anni which is +20 all attributes then i get enough 5 str lcs to equip enigma once it is equip you will have enough str to equip treks and then you should have enough to equip spirit to.. my pally on has 40 points in str with a dusk enigma and even when he dies i keep the right number of 5 in my inventory so that i can equip enigma.. then you have a boosted about of life.. i don't know if this is off topic but it might help someone...

Thats what I thought you had to do but when I tried it.. the background did go red but my cold dmg went down. My shield has facets in it and when i put it on my cold dmg increases and when the red background comes up from getting rid of the str. charms the dmg goes back to normal as if there is no sheild there. So I dunno... i think the one above is right... even though i wish you were because it would be easier.

When you put the shield on, then take the charms off, your sorc just doesn't have enough, so it unequips, but it's still on your char. But if you had a Sotrmshield, and you had 35 str under the req, you could do the trick since Stormshield adds 35 (I think).

So for that shield, you are gonna need the amount of str it requires.

even though the shield looked like it was off was the def. points still up? because it sould be, if its not somethings wrong and im not sure what.

No, no no, it won't work, your shield must add to strength in order for it to stay on. Say you wanted to equip Stormshield, needs 156 strength. You have 77. So you get 5+ strength SC's or LC's to give you 79 extra strength. Equip stormshield, you will notice you now have 186 strength. Start taking off charms. As soon as your strength goes below 156 your shield is un-equiped because you don't have enough strength to wear it. Now, in your case with the Monarch, that Monarch does not add the 30+ strength that Stormshield gives, so your kind of out of luck. To help you out in that area, you should get a 20 stat Annihlus, Cold GC's that give 6+ to strength. If you still cannot achieve it you will need to put extra stat points into strength if you want that Monarch that bad.

*Note - You could always replace your current armor with Enigma, but I find it is better to just throw a couple stat points into strength, and then wear my armor of choice.

Guys...Thats not how it works. i belive if u need 156 stren to use the SS and u get stren charms then take them off once u equip it, u wont technically be wearing the item even though its red on ur armo..

Ok...u wont to use armor that req 100 stren. And u wont to make it glitched so people dont see it.
All you have to do is get 99stren and one stren charm. If u req a stren charm to use the item, it will be glitched to other players but u will still see it on ur screen. This is how it works because i do this all the time with my lld's in hardcore

Uhmm well i don't want it for display glitch, i want it so i don't have to put so many points in str. ... i need more life. Pluse my sheild does not add any str. and i rely on the str. charms that i have to keep it on, and other people are still able to see it... if i take off just one str. charm than i can't wear the shield. the red background shows but the stats my shield is supposed to give me is not shown... so yeah. i think the other ppl are right... and more useful.
